Wedding Reception

Wedding Catering Guide

By: Brendon Jones

Wedding catering can be simple, but unfortunately for most people it's not. It's usually complicated because you have certain ideals that you want included, but either you don't have the budget to do it; or the catering company you're speaking with doesn't offer it.

Finding a catering company is not the problem. They're all over the place; at least they're advertising it. You need to learn whether or not they're full service caterers with everything to offer or if they are simple the food caterer. The actual difference with different companies is local companies grew up from small mom and pop operations, unless of course it's a major hotel chain or club.

After the wedding ceremony is carried out, every one that needs to has said their I do's, the confetti has been thrown and the carriage arrives to take the bride and groom away, the bride and groom head of to the wedding reception to meet the guests, of course the guests from the ceremony are all going but some people only attend the reception. The ceremony is more for family than friends. So once you arrive at the reception what happens then? A party!!!

It is important that the company you choose for your wedding reception delivers a personalized service. There are so many small details involved in the success of a reception, that it can be hard to over look what matters the most… YOU! Any company you decide should maintain focus on your happiness and comfort with all aspects of your itinerary. Below, I've listed a basic time line for what happens when. Just as a reminder, any of the steps below in your wedding reception checklist can be taken out or rearranged. You should have complete control over what happens. Think of yourself as president of the big day.

Points To Consider When Viewing Wedding Reception Venues

By: Harry Worthington

The reception venue is where you are going to be celebrating the start of your new lives together as husband and wife with all of your friends and family. Your wedding party, family and friends will spend quite a number of hours at this venue, so you will need to ensure that you choose wisely, and that it lives up to your expectations. There are three, ‘thinking out of the square' points, that you will need to consider before choosing the definite venue and some of these points you may not have thought about before, but they are very important.

Wedding Catering Tip

Author: Brendon Jones

Imagine wedding catering where bad food is served. What will that do for the remainder of the evening? My first and most important tip is, you should sample the food. Anything can look good but the real test is you taste buds. So, go try whatever it is you want to eat at your reception.

Wedding catering is certainly a major responsibility for any couple. However, it doesn't have to be overwhelming. It really comes down to how much money you have budgeted; there's no way around this point; and what resources you have in your town or surrounding area.
